Early Childhood Approach Key Worker
Our Key Workers are therapists in the early intervention space who are focused on supporting families with holistic interventions in your child’s environment. We build positive routines focused around what you child wants to accomplish, and support access to services and community activities.

What is a Key Worker?
A Key Worker can support your child across all the priority areas of their development and work on what is most important for them. Often when a child has a disability or developmental delays there are multiple areas of concern. Through the key worker model we can focus on your child as a whole, working on all those areas together consistently. They develop a solid relationship with you and your child so you can have that main support around your child’s therapy needs.
Our Key Workers are also known for their collaboration with other services your child receives. They can help you to access other specialised therapists as required, link you in with community supports and activities such as playgroups and childcare, and implement strategies and interventions shared by their therapy team.
Some areas which we can support with include toilet training, play and social interactions, building mealtime routines, supporting regulation and behaviour, and some early communication strategies.
Current evidence supports the Key Worker model as the gold standard of care in therapy for young children and has been proven to have many beneficial results.
